Snobbery With Violence- A Book Review

This book review is for anybody who is drawn to books that are classified as an easy read but nonetheless filled with complete British wit and humour, a dash of upper class snobbery, an intriguing murder and wilful protagonist.

“Snobbery With Violence” by M.C Beaton (Edwardian Mystery Series 1) is a delight it is like having ice cream by the beach. Honestly, this one is a no fuss, funny, yet page turner book. Our very wilful protagonist is Lady Rose Summer who thinks her class -which is the English upper class- is a complete  bore and tries her best to shake things up by puttering with the Suffragette movement not realising that she is on for a shakeup herself when she gets involved in a murder mystery. Will this be interesting enough for Lady Rose? Will a wilful aristocrat lady find the courage to solve a murder mystery or will she end up as the next victim simply because she loves to putter about?

I honestly am not a big reader of Crime Fiction books but I must say I certainly don’t mind reading these series. It is superb! This book has a simple plot with interesting characters and well written. What more can you ask for? It is uncomplicated read which I love plus of course one must need to know who the culprit of the murder which makes one turn the page. Don’t you agree, what?

I highly recommend for this book to bring on a beach holiday.

For an easy read I give this a five out of five stars.

Enjoy the indulgence of reading a book as not a lot us now have the luxury to do so.

M.
